    Trips for all levels

    Each of our trips is assigned a level that mainly reflects the profile of the route and the physical condition required.

    Level 0
    1. Target participants: Designed specifically for Chinese families and children, with groups for ages 4–6, 6–12, and 12+.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor introduction / outdoor awakening.
    3. Intensity: Daily walking time does not exceed 2 hours. May include a combination of activities such as hiking, mountain walking, or rafting. This is a difficulty rating customized for the China market; generally suitable for all children aged 4 and above.
    4. Outdoor risk: Fully controllable; extremely low; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures.
    5. Participation requirements: Good health; meet the age requirement; no outdoor experience required; no special outdoor equipment required.
    Level 1
    1. Target participants: People with no outdoor experience, or less than 1 year of experience; experience-seekers looking for a different style of travel.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor education; outdoor progression; travel beyond the ordinary.
    3. Intensity: Daily walking time does not exceed 4 hours. Terrain may include paved roads, trails, and mountain paths.
    4. Outdoor risk: Fully controllable; relatively low; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures.
    5. Participation requirements: Good health; understand and agree with the concept of experiential travel; no outdoor experience required; basic outdoor gear.
    Level 2
    1. Target participants: People with no outdoor experience, or less than 1 year of experience; experience-seekers looking for a different style of travel.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor education; outdoor progression; travel beyond the ordinary.
    3. Intensity: Daily walking time is 4–5 hours. Terrain may include paved roads, trails, mountain paths, or canyon trekking/crossing.
    4. Outdoor risk: Fully controllable; relatively low; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures.
    5. Participation requirements: Good health; understand and agree with the concept of experiential travel; no outdoor experience required; basic outdoor gear.
    Level 3
    1. Target participants: Those with 1+ year of outdoor experience, or who fully meet the required fitness level; experience-seekers looking for a different style of travel; a phone interview may be required.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor education; outdoor challenge; outdoors can change your world.
    3. Intensity: Average hiking time 5 hours/day; average ascent 600–800 m; average distance 15 km/day.
    4. Outdoor risk: Certain outdoor risk; safety fully controllable; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures.
    5. Participation requirements: Good health; understand and agree with the concept of experiential travel; some outdoor experience required; appropriate outdoor gear; no special technical equipment required.
    Level 4
    1. Target participants: Those with 1+ year of outdoor experience, or who fully meet the required fitness level; experience-seekers looking for a different style of travel; a phone interview may be required.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor education; outdoor challenge; outdoors can change your world.
    3. Intensity: Average hiking time 6 hours/day; average ascent 700–1,000 m; average distance 15–18 km/day; some sections may be at high altitude.
    4. Outdoor risk: Certain outdoor risk; safety fully controllable; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures.
    5. Participation requirements: Good health; understand and agree with the concept of experiential travel; some outdoor experience required; appropriate outdoor gear; no special technical equipment required.
    Level 5
    1. Target participants: Those with 2+ years of outdoor experience; higher fitness requirements; experience-seekers pursuing a different style of travel; phone interview and screening required.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor challenge; outdoors can change your world.
    3. Intensity: Average hiking time 6–7 hours/day; average ascent 1,000 m+ and/or average distance 20 km/day. Some sections may be at high altitude; may include easy summit attempts.
    4. Outdoor risk: Outdoor risks exist; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures; participants should have proper awareness and understanding of risk and difficulty.
    5. Participation requirements: Good health; understand and agree with the concept of outdoor travel; 2+ years of outdoor experience required; appropriate outdoor gear; special technical equipment may be required.
    Level 6
    1. Target participants: Those with 2+ years of outdoor experience; higher fitness requirements; experience-seekers pursuing a different style of travel; phone interview and screening required.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor challenge; outdoors can change your world.
    3. Intensity: Average hiking time 7–8 hours/day; average ascent 1,000 m+ and/or average distance 20 km/day. Some sections may be at high altitude; some sections require roped teams; participants must have Alpine-style mountaineering skills.
    4. Outdoor risk: Outdoor risks exist; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures; participants should have proper awareness and understanding of risk and difficulty.
    5. Participation requirements: Good health; understand and agree with the concept of outdoor travel; 2+ years of outdoor experience required; appropriate outdoor gear; special technical equipment may be required.
    Level 7
    1. Target participants: Highly experienced in the relevant outdoor field; requires excellent fitness and endurance; for those pursuing high-difficulty challenges and the beauty of extremes; requires resume screening and on-site assessment.
    2. Design concept: Outdoor challenge; extreme outdoors.
    3. Intensity: Average hiking time exceeds 8 hours/day; average ascent exceeds 1,000 m and/or average distance 20 km+/day. Some sections may be at high altitude; some sections require roped teams; participants must have Alpine-style mountaineering skills.
    4. Outdoor risk: High outdoor risk; supported by a complete set of professional and standardized procedures; participants must fully understand the risks.
    5. Participation requirements: Not defined—tailored case-by-case according to the route, activity, and dates; fully customized.
