Upon arrival in Surabaya airport, your guide will pick you up and directly transfer to Tumpang village, here you will have a brief medical checkup, a mandatory before trekking Semeru. Then we will continue by 4WD jeep to Ranupane Village (2.200 asl), road is passing via Gubuk Klakah and Ngadas villages, it will take around 2 to 2,5 hour drive from Tumpang. We arrive at the Village in the afternoon, then check in to the local Homestay.

After breakfast at homestay, we start trekking to Ranukumbolo (2400 asl) by crossing the hills track and tropical forest, it will take about 4-5 hours. Get lunch here and at the same time enjoy the beautiful scenery.

After lunch we start trekking to Kalimati (2700 asl) about 2.5 – 3.5 hours through Oro-Oro Ombo Savannah, Cemoro Kandang Pine Forest, and Jambangan Forest. On arrival at Kalimati Campsite, our team will prepare dinner, and then you can rest.

In the midnight after having a snack, we start climbing to summit of Semeru Mountain (3676 M), in 4-6 hours, we will have a spectacular sunrise view when the weather is good and the sky is clear. You can rest at the top, taking pictures and having a hot tea. After some rest we will go down to Kalimati campsite for brunch, then continue back to Ranu Kumbolo Lake. When we arrive, we will have lunch. Then you can rest or you can explore around the lake.

In the morning after breakfast, we start hiking back to Ranupane Village for 4 hours, having lunch in the home stay, and then we will transfer by Jeep to Bromo area. It will take around 90 to 120 minutes drive, and if the weather is good & clear you will have a wonderful view of the sea of sand of Bromo. Check in to your hotel, then the rest of the day is free program on your own leisure.

At 03:00 in the early morning you'll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world's most famous view point at Mt. Pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background. Then the adventure continues to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 steps of stairs to reach the ridge of Bromo Caldera. After this we will proceed back to hotel for breakfast and then leaving for Ijen area via Probolinggo and Bondowoso. Arrival in Ijen area, check in to your hotel.

Early breakfast, then morning departs to the whole day excursion to Mt. Ijen. Ijen Crater shows a special type of volcanic feature common to Indonesia, about 1 km in diameter and 175 meters deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue green in color, held back by a dam built many years ago by the Dutch, in order to keep the hot mineral, laden water from raining for the crop lands below. Trekking down the mountain and rejoin the coach and then directly drive to Surabaya. If you plan to fly out from Surabaya, please take night flight, after 8pm.
