Itinerary:
- Early Morning (3:30 AM – 4:00 AM): Pick-up service will be arranged based on your hotel locations. We will depart together for Mount Kinabalu.
- Morning Activity: Engage in a dedicated birdwatching session within the forests of Kinabalu National Park.
- Lunch: Enjoy a simple local meal at Mount Kinabalu.
- Afternoon Activity: Continue our birdwatching exploration in the forest after lunch.
- Conclusion (approx. 2:30 PM): Return journey begins. Guests will be dropped off at their respective hotels in a sequential order based on location for maximum efficiency.
About the Experience:
Mount Kinabalu is a true paradise for birders, boasting over 330 recorded bird species. Here, you have the opportunity to observe numerous Bornean endemics, including the vibrant Grey-breasted Spiderhunter, the striking Chestnut-capped Laughingthrush, and the colorful Black-and-Yellow Broadbill and Green Broadbill. You will also spot various species of Sunbirds and Flowerpeckers flitting among flowers to sip nectar.
If luck is on our side, we may witness the magnificent Rhinoceros Hornbill soaring above the canopy or catch a glimpse of the elusive Bornean Ground Thrush moving quietly along the forest floor. From the foothills to the summit, different elevations host distinct bird communities, ensuring that every visit is filled with surprises.
