Today, we have arranged a group pickup at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman. The specific time will be adjusted according to the flight schedule. Afterward, we will embark on an approximately 45-minute drive to downtown Amman. As the capital, Amman is a city where ancient heritage seamlessly blends with contemporary life, boasting historical sites such as the Roman Theater alongside dynamic markets and a vibrant cultural atmosphere—truly the gateway to understanding Jordan.
In the evening, a welcome dinner will be held at a local restaurant. Over scrumptious local cuisine, team members can mingle, relax, and kick off our journey together.

After breakfast, we depart from Amman and head south toward the magnificent Dana Biosphere Reserve. This is one of Jordan’s largest and most ecologically diverse nature reserves. The Dana to Petra section is the most varied and breathtaking part of the Jordan Trail—and this is where our 5-day trek begins!
Today, we hike through four distinct ecological zones, witnessing plant life, birds, and wildlife uniquely adapted to each environment along the way. This is the best way to experience the richness of Jordan’s natural landscape. The trail first leads us across mountain paths overlooking vast valleys, then descends into the remote Al Khashasha Valley. As night falls, we arrive at a wilderness campsite on the edge of the valley, where we can relax and enjoy the serene beauty of the reserve.
Our private campsite is set up in advance each day by the Bama local support team. Upon arrival, you can collect your large luggage—already transferred to the campsite—and head straight into your tent to rest. In the evening, enjoy a warm camp dinner, freshen up with a simple wash, and then drift off to sleep beneath the starry sky, accompanied by the gentle sound of the wind.

Towering black, rugged peaks rise above the path, while deep canyon drops unfold below, creating one of the most striking sections of the trek. As you gradually climb, expansive views open across the vast desert plains beneath you. You’ll also begin encountering the first Nabataean remains —carved presses, aqueducts, and ancient water systems that once sustained this desert region.
The route then winds through a sandstone canyon before descending a narrow stone staircase into Little Petra, known locally as Beidha. Believed to have functioned as a trading outpost linked to Petra, this hidden site gives a fascinating preview of the wonders ahead. The trail takes us across desert plateaus, past Bedouin camps and slowly moving flocks of sheep—scenery straight out of a painting. As we enter the ancient city and reach the Monastery, the sandstone cliffs part to reveal this grand monument, carved in silence and standing as it has for centuries. We descend along 800 stone steps into the heart of Petra, where the Treasury reveals its rose-hued facade through a cleft in the canyon. Elegant columns and time-worn carvings stand in the shifting light—the beauty of this Rose City unfolding step by step. Finally, we walk out through the towering cliffs of the Siq, turning back for one last look at Petra: a lasting legacy left by a great ancient trading empire.
Tonight, you can choose to experience Petra by Night, or reward yourself with a hearty meal at a local restaurant—you’ve earned it!

We’ll board 4x4 jeeps and set off on a desert safari. Towering sandstone mountains rise dramatically from the endless desert plains—wild, majestic, and breathtaking. The vastness and raw beauty of the wilderness create an otherworldly atmosphere hard to put into words. Wheels roll across the open land, carrying us through rolling dunes, wind-sculpted rock formations, and hidden canyons that are barely marked on any map.
After the tour, we drive to the campsite where we’ll spend the night beneath a camel-hair tent under a sky brimming with stars.

On clear days, you can see all the way south to the Jordan–Saudi Arabia border, and north to Jebel Rum, Jordan’s second highest peak, standing tall in the distance.
After a packed lunch and a moment to take in the panorama, descend back to the desert floor, where a vehicle awaits to transfer you to the Dead Sea.
After days of trekking, it’s finally time to unwind—on your back, floating effortlessly. The Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, has a salinity of 34%, allowing you to drift weightless on its surface. The afternoon is yours to enjoy. Head to the shore, coat yourself in the mineral-rich black mud, and indulge in nature’s own spa treatment. Rinse off and step into the water, where the hypersaline lake lifts your body as if gravity has let go. Lying still beneath an endless blue sky, with only the cool, buoyant water surrounding you—this strange and peaceful weightlessness is the Dead Sea’s quiet gift.
